1938-53 ½d black & violet, SG 38, complete sheet of sixty containing Row 1/1 "spot in sky", Row 2/2 major re-entry to right frame (Murray Payne 1a), Row 3/2 black mark by 7 o'clock in medallion, Row 4/2 scratch through "2" in "½", Row 5/1 gash in "E", Row 8/3 "buoy" & Row 10/3 "wart on nose" varieties. fresh unmounted mint, folds through selvedge. A few habitual gum bends & paper hinge remnants in top selvedge but a superb survivor & valuable study piece.
